Focal research topics
A particular focus of our situational approach to the diversity of adult learning and continuing education and its professional support structures lies on the empirical reconstruction of the specific contextual conditions and dynamics within which education and learning appear as significant life events. Principal areas of our research interest include interactions in family education, vocational education and general adult education settings, in civil society initiatives, and in conversations between clients and advisory/support workers.
