Dissertation Project: The meaning of the lived body
"The meaning of the lived body. A Biographical Analysis Study on Dancers"
With phenomenological theoretical references, the intention is to explore the connection between the biographical course and body experiences and concepts. This is done by means of narrative interviews with professional dancers, primarily ballet dancers. The data material is reconstructed by using process analysis. With the development of an empiricization of the meaning of the lived and lived body and its integration in the method(ology), the research project works in addition to substantive knowledge on the relationship structures of one`s own life and one`s own body perspectives on two strands of knowledge.
