Bachelor & Master orientation events on 9th an 10th of October 2023 (dies academicus)
Due to the orientation days for the new students on 9th and 10th of October 2023, the Decan of the Faculty of Humanities III announced Dies Academicus. These two days should be used for information and orientation in the newly started study programs. Therefore, no courses will take place during this time.
Introductory events for Bachelor and Master students in Educational Science:
Mon, 09/10/2023 Master introduction (MA 120)
Tue, 10/10/2023 Bachelor introduction (BA 180 & BA 90)
Both events will take place in the German Hall in House 7 (Francke Foundation, Franckeplatz 1). You can find more detailed information on the relevant sub-pages of your study program.
Certificate handover ceremony on Tuesday, June 13, 2023
On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, all graduates of the Bachelor's and Master's degree program in Educational Science, who have successfully completed their studies at MLU since the summer semester of 2022, were again invited to the ceremonial presentation of certificates in the German Hall. They were able to celebrate this happy occasion together with their lecturers and relatives. After the certificates were handed over by the examination office, the outstanding master's theses of Melanie Augustin, Dominic Keßler and Max Schellbach were awarded with the research prize for 2023. The ceremony was once again organized by the Alumni e.V. and the Institute of Pedagogy. It was musically accompanied by the atmospheric Irish folk band Josefine's Choice from Halle (Saale).
At this point we would also like to announce the date for the planned certificate ceremony for Bachelor's and Master's in Educational Science next year. This will take place for on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 in the German Hall (House 7). All graduates will receive an invitation with all relevant information in due course.

Anwendung des Sozialberufeanerkennungsgesetzes an der MLU
Gemäß Sozialberufeanerkennungsgesetz Sachsen-Anhalt in der Fassung vom 25.2.2016 (GVBI. LSA S. 89, 105) sowie der Verordnung zur Ausführung des Sozialberufeanerkennungsgesetzes Sachsen-Anhalt (SozBAEnerkGAVO LSA) vom 13.12.2016 an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg kann auf Antrag und nach Prüfung der Voraussetzungen die Staatliche Anerkennung als Sozialpädagogin / Sozialpädagoge an Absolventinnen und Absolventen des Bachelor-Studiengangs Erziehungswissenschaft (180 LP) sowie an an Absolventinnen und Absolventen des ehemaligen Diplom-Studiengangs Erziehungswissenschaft (Schwerpunkt Sozialpädagogik) an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg verliehen werden.
